Overview
Discretio is a service operated by Static Syntax. We offer paid subscription plans processed by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and Merchant of Record. This policy explains when and how refunds are issued.
Free Trial
We offer a free trial period so you can explore Discretio before committing to a paid plan. No credit card is required to start your trial. You will only be charged if you choose to subscribe after your trial ends.
14-Day Refund Window
If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial payment or any renewal charge. Refund requests made after 14 days of the charge date will not be eligible unless required by applicable law.
To request a refund, contact us at hello@discretio.app with the email address associated with your account and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future charges immediately. Your access to paid features continues until the end of your current billing period — we do not issue prorated refunds for unused time within a billing cycle unless you are within the 14-day refund window.
Annual Plans
Annual subscriptions ($50/year for Basic, $90/year for Premium) are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of the charge date. After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable, but you retain access to your plan until the end of the annual period.
Exceptions
Refunds may be granted outside the standard window at our discretion in cases of extenuating circumstances, such as duplicate charges or technical errors that prevented access to the service. We will always try to do right by you.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. If you are based in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have additional rights, including a statutory right of withdrawal for digital services purchased online.
